Agent Anand Santosh Web Series Review: Shanmukh Jaswanth received a call from a prominent Telugu over-the-top (OTT) platform, which asked him to participate in the production of the new online series Agent Anand Santhosh. Let’s get started and find out if the buzz surrounding this miniseries is warranted given that it is Aha’s first time producing one and shares the same cast as Shanmukh’s web series.

Story

The guideline that “Don’t take a case you can’t afford” is considered to be the most significant rule of the detective’s office. Anand Santhosh, played by Shanmukh Jaswanth, decides to work at the office so that he may be held accountable to the same standards as the other employees. At first, Anand Santhosh is told about ridiculous occurrences, such as misplaced milk packages and slippers belonging to neighbors. He won’t be able to make any progress toward solving the mystery unless he realizes that a large number of people are abducting people.

Verdict

Shanmukh’s comedic timing and the show’s creative use of his skills helped to keep the miniseries intriguing, despite the fact that the story of Agent Anand Santhosh isn’t especially innovative in comparison to that of Chantabbai and the more recent Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya. The team responsible for creating the show and the story took advantage of Shanmukh’s signature comedic timing as much as possible. There would be seven or eight episodes that were exactly the same.

We lose interest because the plot doesn’t feel like it belongs in a series; kidnappings are happening in the city, but they don’t feel like they belong there. When the tone shifts to something more serious, the story loses our attention. When things were humorous, we enjoyed them, but when they became more serious, we lost interest in what was going on. The show is entertaining to watch due to the fact that it contains some humorous moments as well as genuine action sequences that were filmed in historic city neighborhoods. Another individual who immediately springs to mind is Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya.

Although Shanmukh Jaswanth does a respectable job portraying Anand Santhosh, there are numerous occasions on which he comes across as simply Shanmukh. Even though this isn’t a very significant development, we should nonetheless commend him for the change he made and the other performers for providing their absolute best performance.

This series was written by Subbu K and Shanmukh, both of whom have previous experience working in the field of software development. Although Arun Pawar did an excellent job with a few of the blocks, he was unable to make the content entertaining. We are excited about the prospect of seeing more of his work in the years to come.

The majority of the sequences are poorly executed, but those that are executed properly save the show, and Ajay Arasada’s excellent work is largely responsible for this. In addition to that, the opinions of the other technical teams were unanimously positive.

People who are looking for a well-written detective series will find it satisfying to read Agent Anand Santhosh.
