Allu Sirish’s Urvasivo Rakshasivo Telugu Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

Allu Sirish’s Urvasivo Rakshasivo Telugu Movie Review: Low-budget indie Gauravam was Allu Sirish’s debut in the film industry. Over the next few years, he worked in fields better suited to his talents; and though most audiences didn’t warm to his films, he ultimately prevailed despite widespread disapproval. But despite his disappointment with the final product, he’s back with another intriguing movie: Uravasivo Rakshasasivo. It’s a romance, yet it seems unlike any other you’ve read. Even though excitement for the film was high before Balakrishna’s arrival at the pre-release function, the trailer really turned up the volume. The movie opened in theatres on November 4, 2022; now that time has passed, let’s see if it’s worthwhile.

Movie Verdict

The play’s first act is briskly paced but offers just enough humour to keep viewers interested. Some viewers also enjoy scenes where the hero and heroine share passionate moments together. Early on, we meet both the protagonist and the character who will eventually take on that role. The film, however, has a message that holds up even today. Men used to be careless with their partners, and it was the women who ended up paying the price. But times have changed, and female leaders have emerged. The film stays true to this idea in an interesting way.

Anu Emmanuel as Sinduja was fantastic, and the other performances by Vennela Kishore, Sunil, and Amani were also quite good. She did a wonderful job bringing out all the nuances of her character. In the role of Sri Kumar, Allu Sirish shines. He gets better with every picture he’s in, and he nails the role of a nave man here.

Some holes in the plot aside, Rakesh Sashi’s direction was superb. The picture had just the right amount of humor and drama. Not a single person was moved by his words.

Urvasivo Rakshasivo has great cinematography by Tanveer Mir, and the rest of the crew did a great job as well. Achu Rajamani contributes a couple of great songs, but the score might use some work.
