Movie Verdict
A highly intriguing concept is examined in the film Ammu. Numerous Indian homes are impacted by domestic violence. There have been other films with comparable objectives, but none with a narrative as distinctive as Ammu’s. It aims to inspire women by highlighting their positive attributes and informing them of their legal rights. The outer world and our dwellings share a lot of similarities.
Because the individuals in Ammu are introduced gradually and the scenes then concentrate on what they are doing, they are just the appropriate amount of intense. The film features a lot of great scenes despite a few extended sections. There was a clear message at the conclusion of the film.
Aishwarya Lekshmi did a fantastic job as Ammu. She did an excellent job of evoking multiple emotions in her audience. Although Naveen Chandra is a skilled Telugu actor, he doesn’t receive enough praise for his versatility. You did a terrific job portraying Ravi as the devoted spouse and fierce cop. The fact that Bobby Simha doesn’t receive much stage time is a waste because he is a highly talented actor. Even if he only plays a minor role, he will create a lasting impression. Maala Parvathi, Raghu Babu, and other actors portrayed the events as intended.
Ammu appears to be in good shape technically. Bharat Shankar composed the soundtrack and the film’s score. The film’s cinematography is well done by Apoorva Shaligram. To create a mood that is appropriate for the subject, she employs certain sombre tones. The editing technique of Radha Sridhar is obvious. High production qualities were necessary for the movie’s plot, so they were used.
The film’s director, Charukesh Sekar, does succeed in making certain points about domestic abuse in India, but he could have done more to keep audiences interested.
Ammu is a fantastic piece of art overall, and it has some moving elements. This movie is available on Amazon Prime if you enjoy social dramas.
