Aparna Balamurali’s Aakasam Telugu Movie Review: While Tamil cinema is more widely watched, Ashok Selvan has become a household name in the less-watched Telugu film industry. Two of his Telugu film directing efforts, “Pizza 2: Villa” and “Thegidi,” both did rather well at the box office. After its premiere on DIRECT OTT, the film Ninnila Ninnila was praised by critics. His most recent films, “Aakasam” in Telugu and “Nitham Oru Vaanam” in Tamil, were shot simultaneously and both received excellent reviews. Let’s take a closer look at the movie to see if Ashok Selvan managed to win over the Telugu audience and boost his career prospects.

Story

While on his journey, Arjun meets Subhadra and strikes up a chat with her. Arjun begins to reveal his life’s timeline in increments. Likewise, his interactions with Meera Meenakshi and Mathi Prabha are covered. During their journey, Arjun and Subhadra learn more about who they are. What happens to Arjun once they get back is the focus of the rest of the story.

Cast & Crew

In Ra’s film Aakasham, several well-known actors make brief appearances, including Aparna Balamurali, Shivathmika Rajasekhar, Ashok Selvan, and Rithu Varma. The film was directed by Vidhu Ayyanna, while the score was written by Gopi Sundar. Producing was Karthik’s job, and Rising East helped him out.

Movie Verdict

Similar stories may be found in the Telugu films Na Autograph Beautiful Memory, Premam, and Thank You; in “Aakasam,” a protagonist who has been going through a rough patch eventually finds love, triumphs over adversity, and learns what it is to live. There are many funny and touching moments in Aakasam that the audience will enjoy and find easy to relate to. Aparna Balamurali and Ashok Selvan give stellar performances in every scene together. Not as interesting as Ashok Selvan’s prior scenes with Ritu Varma and Shivatmika Rajasekhar, Aakasam.

Given that Ashok Selvan’s character goes through so many changes in the course of the film, Telugu audiences are bound to be impressed by his acting abilities. He was noticeable not only for his physical features but also for the way he conducted himself. Both Aparna Balamurali’s performance and her role are superb. The audience will never forget Aparna’s performance, and they will love her scenes. As we have seen Ritu Varma in similar roles before, her character is rather typical. While there has been progress in the Telugu acting profession, Shivatmika Rajasekhar still has a ways to go before her skill is fully appreciated.

From a technological perspective, Aakasam makes sense. Gopi Sundar’s score and melodies are stunning and evocative, making them a perfect complement to the film’s visuals. Filmmaker Vidhu Ayyanna did a fantastic job behind the camera. He had a good eye for composition and knew how to choose images that would catch our interest by showing off the natural beauty of the areas he visited. It’s possible that the editing may have been better if some of the longer passages were cut out. The plot works in perfect tandem with the high quality of the film’s production.

Ra. The filmmaker, Karthik, made an effort to capture the ups and downs of human emotion on film, but he was largely unsuccessful because many of the scenes were recycled from previous films dealing with similar themes.

Aakasam is an excellent film that provides a wealth of life lessons without sacrificing entertainment. The film’s small issues and obvious rip-offs may be overlooked if you care about the characters and are affected by the acting.
