Cobra Movie Review: Cobra, starring Chiyaan Vikram, had its original August 31 release date pushed back multiple times due to production issues. In the movie’s trailer, Vikram appeared in many outfits; he does the same thing here. Despite having success in the past, Vikram hasn’t had any current box office successes. In his most recent OTT release, which was also a great smash, Vikram played Mahaan Gandhi, and people were ecstatic to see him in that role. Story

Some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema, including Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, K.S. Ravikumar, Roshan Mathew, Anandraj, Robo Shankar, Mia George, Mirnalini Ravi, and Meenakshi Govindrajan, are collaborators with Chiyaan Vikram on the Cobra films. S.S. Lalit Kumar is in charge of producing this film, and Ajay Gnanamuthu is in charge of its direction. A. R. Rahman composed the film’s score, and Harish Kannan was in order of the photography. Movie Verdict
The plot of Cobra is rather straightforward, but the non-linear screenplay keeps us wondering what will happen next, which initially makes it intriguing. A few crucial moments in the first act will keep us watching the film, and the interval clip only heightens our interest. However, the second half of the film loses its direction and becomes increasingly predictable. There aren’t a lot of spectacular action moments in the second part of the film. To properly comprehend the significance of the Hallucination scene and Vikram’s several appearances, you must see the film in a theatre. We don’t want to give away the ending by giving you all the details right now.
Chiyaan Vikram once more demonstrates why he is regarded as a versatile performer. We don’t care about Vikram’s acting gaffes, even though his makeup occasionally appears to be awry for certain clothes. In her short role, Srinidhi Shetty performed a wonderful job. The cricket player Irfan Pathan plays a significant role in the film. He portrays his character well in some parts, but his inexperience is apparent in others. Even a subpar dish might look good in Roshan Mathew’s hands. There are amusing moments in Robo Shankar. All of the actors, including Mirnalni Ravi, were excellent in their roles.
Cobra looks good on paper. Overall, A. R. Rahman did a terrific job as the film’s composer, but “Tarangini” is my favourite music. One of the film’s strongest elements is the score, which Rahman composed. It emphasises crucial scenes when they call for it and harmonises well with the emotions the characters express throughout the film. When Harish Kannan films scenes in exotic locales, which appear stunning on screen, he doesn’t always do a fantastic job with the camera. Although the production quality is high, the crew should have given more consideration to the visual effects. The combat choreography by Dhilip Subbarayan is sure to draw a sizable audience.
Previously, Ajay Gnanamuthu worked for Anjali CBI and Demonte Colony. He performed a better job of retaining the audience’s interest this time. Although the movie’s plot doesn’t seem to be particularly original, the scripting is strong enough to maintain viewers’ interest.
Compared to the most recent Chiyaan Vikram films, Cobra is a far superior film.
