The Delhi police have started their probe into the murder of an elderly couple. A few days later, yet another married couple is gunned down, and so on. The poor and the residents of slums are disproportionately targeted by law enforcement. It’s a difficult situation for DCP Vartika Chaturvedi because there are no solid clues pointing to the slum residents as the perpetrators.

Based on a true crime that shook the nation, the first season of this drama was recounted from the perspective of the police officers who investigated the case. There are a lot of new elements in the Season 2 plot that make it feel excessively cinematic. However, the series holds your interest by demonstrating the persistence of racism and discrimination in India today. The film features numerous tense sequences that prompt viewers to consider what life in a poor neighborhood would be like.

Shefali Shah once again demonstrates her acting prowess by convincing viewers that she and the events on screen are genuine. Another artist who never fails to impress when given the chance is Rasika Duggal. Even though his role on the play was very minor, Adil Hussain delivered a terrific performance. The actors playing slum dwellers didn’t particularly stand out, but everyone else performed a good job.

These shows have excellent production quality. Among the show’s many high points is the original score by Andrew Lockington. His score enhanced a lot of the show’s best moments. The cinematography is excellent, creating a sense of immersion in every action with appropriately dark views.

Tanuj Chopra and Rajesh Mapuskar did an excellent job producing, and the story was intriguing enough to attract an audience.

Finally, the second season of Delhi Criminal proves that the show’s dismal reality and compelling plot made the first season a hit.
