Movie Verdict
Doctor G is one such flick that will make you laugh as well as think. This film features some humorous dialogue that will make you chuckle right away while also helping you appreciate the event’s greater meaning. The film’s entertaining first half keeps us fascinated until the intermission. Because the majority of the film is fun, the emotional moments in the second half may not have the same emotional impact as those in the first, but you will surely appreciate it and understand why it was done by the end.
Ayushmann Khurrana chooses interesting material for his acting assignments, but his performances in each film remain constant. He may try out for several other roles that would put his acting skills to the test, allowing spectators to evaluate how his performance fluctuates across films. Shefali Shah’s effortless acting as Dr. Nandini strikes an impression. Rakul Preet Singh’s performance isn’t very memorable, and she has minimal screen presence. Sheeba Chadha, who plays Ayushmann’s mother in the film, is another performer who creates an impression. All more performers contributed to the plot as needed.
On paper, Doctor G appears to be in good health. The songs by Amit Trivedi are entertaining, and the background music complements the action beautifully. Eeshit Narain’s cinematography is adequate, and several of the shots in the film have a lively aspect. Sumit Saxena’s line will definitely make viewers laugh due to its odd delivery. The film’s production values are outstanding.
Although the film generally entertained the audience, director Anubhuti Kashyap may have disappointed them because everyone was expecting something new from Ayushmann Khurrana.
Doctor G is only somewhat enjoyable overall, and it veers off course in the second half. However, this video can be watched for a few laughs.
