Movie Verdict

Sandeep Madhav is one of the most underrated actors, as he is well-known for biopics such as Vangaveeti and George Reddy. However, for the first time, he attempted to act in his own style, as the film’s premise is excellent, but it appears artificial on screen due to the presence of too many commercial elements.
The film begins well with proper story establishment, but it deteriorates within 30 minutes as it shifts into unnecessary comedy scenes. The film fails to maintain the audience’s interest throughout, but there are a few blocks that make you partially interested, and the conclusion could have been better.
Sandeep Madhav’s performance as Avinash is ludicrous, as he appears unreal in the military role and Vijay character he portrayed well. Posani Krishan Murali’s comic timing created some viewing interest, and the rest of the cast performed admirably.
Technically, Gandharva is average, and Jawahar Reddy’s cinematography falls short of expectations. The background score for Rock Shakeel is good in parts, and the other departments did their best.
Finally, Gandharwa is a film that you should only watch once if you have nothing else to watch.

Rating: 3/5
