Movie Verdict

Prithviraj Sukumaran also stated that we missed the cheers and whistles throughout the film and that he wants to bring them back, which is exactly what is happening in the theatres.

Kaduva is set in the 1990s, but it doesn’t feel like a film from that era because the plot is so simple: it’s about the egos of two men. Nonetheless, there are numerous commercial segments in the film that will keep viewers interested. To be fair, Shaji Kailas spent the first half of his film setting up his hero’s world and the second half focusing on how they compete. But we should applaud the director for balancing the rivalry with real-world emotions, such as how it affects both families. The film’s climax is well-planned and executed, so it deserves special attention. The Telugu dubbing, on the other hand, could have been better, as is usually the case with dubbed films. We hope that producers will pay more attention to the dubbing process in the future.

In terms of performance, Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kuruvachan is simply outstanding. We can’t rave enough about his performance. Most recently, he captivated audiences with his work in Jana Gana Mana and Kaduva, providing the film with exactly what it required. Vivek Oberoi is brilliant as always, with a subtle performance. After Lucifer, this is Prithviraj’s second film. Samyuktha Menon has a smaller room.
Because Shaji Kailas understood how the public felt, he was able to keep their attention by strategically placing commercials on the screen.

Aside from Jakes Bejoy’s great score and the rest of the technical crew, Abinandhan Ramanujam’s beautiful cinematography and the great visual effects make Kaduva look great.
Finally, if you enjoy commercial entertainment, Kaduva is a must-see in a theatre.
