Kantara Telugu Movie Review: The authors have chosen to have Kantara translated into Telugu and Hindi because it has been a big success since its release. It’s time to evaluate the Telugu and Hindi versions of the film, which were just released today, October 15, 2022, and yesterday, October 14, 2022, respectively, to positive reviews.
Story
In a remote tribal village, Shiva’s mother and family reside. The individual is known by the name Rishab Shetty. Because of a horrific incident that occurred to him when he was a young man, he is no longer able to lead the Daivaradhane and Bhoota Kola rites. As long as he can hang out with his pals and earn some money performing odd things for his landlord, he doesn’t mind being homeless (Achyut Kumar). The enduring conflict between humans and environment takes on a new twist thanks to Forest Officer Murali (Kishore). How certain are you that Shiva will prevent Murali from destroying the forest? Murali might entice larger fish so that you can capture them.

The editors of Hombale Film include Rishab Shetty, Kishore, Achuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty, Vinay Biddappa, Aravind Kashyap, B Ajaneesh Loknath, Pratheek Shetty, and K. M. Prakash. Its producer is Vijay Kiragandur.
Movie Verdict
Following KGF’s commercial success, Kannada filmmakers began producing more human-centered films like Kantara. The movie’s central struggle is between humanity and the environment, and director Rishab Shetty does a fantastic job of expanding on this intriguing concept.
Setting the tone early on, later sequences with Shiva (Rishab Shetty) and the Kambla race are portrayed so brilliantly that you feel like you’re right there in the middle of the action. Technical excellence more than makes up for the story’s predictability and lack of innovation.
Up until the final 30 minutes, when some of the same things keep happening, you’ll be totally engrossed in the film. There are a lot of humorous situations and funny sequences in the first hour and a half. The story of culture, traditions, and mystery is expanded upon in the second hour and a half.
Rishab Shetty Kishore was excellent as the stern forest officer, and the rest of the cast was excellent as well. Shiva, whose effortless performance and convincing character development carried the film, is still what audiences will remember it for.
The way Rishab Shetty writes and organizes the show achieves his goal of creating a story with a strong base.
Kantara is an expert photographer’s director. By cleverly utilizing the setting, lighting, and framing, Aravind Kashyap transports us to Kantara. The movie’s technical aspects—such as the BGM by Ajaneesh Loknath—are excellent, but the songs are unmemorable.
I want to conclude by saying that the film Kantara is a masterpiece.
