Prior to Prematho Mee Karthik and RX100, he made his acting debut with Prematho Mee Karthik. Hippi, Guna 369, Nani’s Gang Leader, and Valimai were among his subsequent roles.
Gummakonda initially debuted in Gang Leader as a villain with Nani. After director Vikram Kumar saw him in RX 100 and liked what he did, he was given the character of Dev. In the midst of the mania, Nani’s Gang Leader clearly demonstrated his desire to continue to grow as an actor. The role he’ll be portraying in 90ML is an intriguing one. “Kartikeya gets a role that needs him to dance like a dream and fight like a pro for the most part, and he aces it completely,” noted the film reviewer in The Times of India. A 2021 hearse driver who falls in love with a widow in the film Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, he played Basti Balaraju. An Indian Express reviewer praised Kartikeya for his portrayal of Basthi Balaraju.
