Verdict
Even though Bihar has been the setting for a lot of movies and TV shows, it still feels new and exciting to watch them. Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is a show that keeps you interested from the beginning to the end. The first three episodes of the show are important because they show how Chandan Mahto takes over Shaikpura before going into the life of Amith Lodha, a good police officer who always wants to change society.
Even though each episode slows down because there is too much drama, the show gets interesting when the cruel thug Chandan Mahto and Amit fight. Each episode is the perfect mix of all the emotions that make us care about the story. The series is interesting because it shows things like how Power, Crime, changes the way people see life, how everyone is affected by the atmosphere of crime, and what made them turn into ruthless goons.
The rest of the actors, including Avinash Tiwary, Ashutosh Rana, Ravi Kishan, Nikita Dutta, Abhimanyu Singh, Shraddha Das, Jatin Sarna, and Anup Soni, did their best. Karan Tacker was the best choice for the role of Amith Lodhaa.
Neeraj Pandey, whose best films include “A Wednesday,” “Special 26,” and “Baby,” switched from directing to writing with this series. He tried to get inside the minds of criminals and police officers to find out what made them do bad things. He also tried to figure out how politicians became like criminals when they abused their power. Bhav Dhulia did a great job telling the story.
The series looks good, the cinematography pulls you into the picture and makes you feel like you’re there, the background score is good but could be better, and the rest of the team did a great job.
Overall, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is a good TV show that anyone can watch all at once, except for families.
