Story

Mili desires to work abroad, but her financial circumstances require her to work in a mall restaurant. She loves and cares for her father. She becomes attracted to Sameer. Mili is regularly in dispute with her shop’s furious manager, and one day she becomes accidentally trapped within the restaurant’s food storage freezer. The remainder of the story describes how Mili was able to withstand such low temperatures and who discovered her in the freezer.

Movie Verdict

Mili is an official remake of the wildly famous Malayalam film Helen. The original version of Mili has not been altered, and the filmmakers avoided making any changes that would compromise the story’s integrity. The people are explained in depth, including their occupations and personal lives, prior to scenes in which Mili finds herself in a difficult situation. The film does not become fascinating until Mili’s character is locked in a freezer. You may find the opening parts of the film to be tedious. However, the moments following Mili’s entrapment and the remainder of the film are interesting to watch.

In the film Mili, Janhvi Kapoor earns the greatest praise for her performance. In certain roles she was able to demonstrate her acting abilities, yet in others she was unable to make the character believable. It is encouraging to see her accept roles with more screen time and creative freedom, but it would be even better if she could improve her acting skills. Manoj Pahwa delivers an outstanding job as Mili’s father as always. In his film debut, Sunny Kaushal had a minor role and delivered an adequate performance. All supporting actors acted as required by the plot.

The Mili film is technically sound. Although a few passages appear rather commonplace, A.R. Rahman’s background score adds extra emotion and weight to the scenario. With A.R.Rahman’s score as the backdrop, numerous second-half situations appear exciting. Sunil Karthikeyan’s cinematography is remarkable, particularly the scenes shot in a single, enclosed location. The editing would have been improved if a few drawn-out scenes had been eliminated. Excellent production values.

Mathukutty Xavier, the film’s original director, did not make any significant changes. The film might have been more entertaining to watch if a few of the beginning moments had been altered and a few other segments had been deleted. Mathukutty Through well-executed survival situations in the second half, Xavier was able to maintain spectator interest.

Mili is an earnest attempt by the developers to connect with survival situations. This film is worth seeing in theatres for the Rahman-composed background score and a few exciting scenes.
