Mukhachitram Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

Mukhachitram Movie Review: Before directing “Mukhachitram,” his second film, director Sandeep Raj switched to writing scripts after receiving a National Award for his first film, “Colour Photo.” The stars in the movie already piqued people’s interest, and the trailer only served to pique that interest further. Today’s movie premiere sparked a lot of anticipation. Let’s get right into it and find out how good this movie is.

Mukhachitram Movie Review

Story

Dr. Raj (Vikar Vasista), who wed Mahathi rather than Maya (Ayesha Khan), seems to be sticking to his original course of action. Mahathi is knocked out in an accident, and Maya’s face is hurt. Raj’s life is completely upended by that. The way Raj reacted when he realised Maya had returned with Mahathi’s surgically altered face is also instructive.

Cast & Crew

Vikas Vasista, Vishwak Sen, Priya Vadlamani, Chaitanya Rao, and Ayesha Khan were the leading actors and actresses. The film’s screenplay, direction, photography, and music were all done by Sandeep Raj. The music was composed by Kaala Bhairava, the editing was done by Pavan Kalyan Kodati, and the camera work was done by Sreenivas Bejugam. Mohan S. Rajan and Pradeep Yadav collaborated on this movie’s direction.

Movie Verdict

The main protagonists of the movie, Maya and Raj, are introduced, and their love story is made clear in the first few moments. When Mahathi (who plays Ra) experiences two terrible things in the second act of the film, the first act of the movie gains a new level of intensity. Mukhchitram’s trailer, which is a major disappointment, is the only interesting aspect of the film.

The courtroom drama’s attempts to establish Raj’s innocence fail, but Vishwak Sen captures everyone’s attention. Unfortunately, the movie’s second half does not wow us in the same manner. The first half picks up where it left off. Finding out how Maya’s face was switched with Mahathi’s and why she sued Raj to exact revenge is intriguing.

Mahathi was excellently portrayed by Priya Vadlamani because of the intricacy she brought to the part. Ayesha Khan did a good job playing Maya, but Chaitanya Rao, who is well-known for his role in the 31 Weds 21 series, fell flat with his acting and delivery. Cinema Vikas Vasista does a respectable job as Raj in Bandi, but there is always room for improvement. He was the best car driver in a remote area.

Although Sandeep Raj may have written a more interesting script, the film’s linear screenplay made it difficult for first-time director Gangadhar to convey the story. Neither the direction of Gangadhar nor the writing of Sandeep Raj were able to captivate or amaze the audience.

Mukhachitram was only merely adequate in our opinion. While Kaala Bhairava’s score and Sreenivas Bejugam’s camerawork aren’t particularly noteworthy, the rest of the cast and crew did an outstanding job of fulfilling the needs of the movie.

If you don’t have any other plans this weekend, I recommend checking out Mukhachitram because it has a number of catchy musical tracks. The only other choice you have is to politely reject their offer.
