Movie Verdict

Oh My Kadavule, from which Ori Devuda is adapted, was a smashing success in Tamil. The Telugu version is remarkably similar to the original in both appearance and plot. In many respects, this story is similar to other love stories, yet the fictional premise sets it apart. Both the scenes before and after Venkatesh Daggubati gives Vishwaksen a ticket are worth your time. Many are curious as to how things would progress in such cases.

One further feature that sets this image apart is the text that appears within it. The screenplay is unique among love stories despite the fact that most of the situations are quite predictable. This is what elevates every aspect of the film, from the courtroom sequences to the introduction of Venkatesh Daggubati to the flashbacks. A meaningful message at the end of the video may resonate with today’s youth.

Vishwak Sen plays Arjun with conviction, but his actions could be interpreted as over the top at times. He should focus on his appearance and stage presence right now. Actress Mithila Palkar is well-known for her part in the hit series “Little Things.” She did a fantastic job as Anu, despite this being her debut Telugu film. Venkatesh Daggubati’s appearance, as usual, was hilarious, and Rahul Ramakrishna was fantastic in the role of Daggubati’s assistant. Asha Bhat performed a fantastic job, but she could definitely work on her acting. Murali Sharma and the rest of the cast performed a fantastic job with their story-driven roles.

The film’s technical aspects are top-notch, and Ori Devuda should be proud of their work. The finest song is by Anirudh, while the score by Leon James fits the narrative perfectly. While the cinematography in Vidhu Ayyana is generally strong, there are a few instances where the colors seem oversaturated. It’s possible that this was addressed during the DI. This piece of work might have used a better editor. The film isn’t perfect, despite the fact that it only has a few VFX-heavy shots.

Director Ashwath Marimuthu’s goal was to remain faithful to the original film’s story and structure. Through a combination of humorous real-life anecdotes and fictitious tales, he was able to get the audience in good spirits.

In sum, if you’re looking for a good love tale to see in the theatre with your significant other, Ori Devuda is a solid pick.
