Qala Hindi Movie Review: Tripti Dimri’s first movie was “Poster Boys.” After she did a great job in “Laila Majnu,” both the public and the critics started to pay attention to her. Story

Verdict

The Qala movie will take us to a new planet from the first frame. Even though the movie’s plot seems simple, the way it was put together and the great technical work behind it make it a fun movie to watch this weekend. The slow narration in this movie might seem like a speed bump to some viewers, but it actually helps to show how the characters feel and move the story forward. The story does a great job of bringing these feelings—pain, confusion, and fear—into the story and showing them on screen. Even though there are a few small problems here and there, the film’s unique style and great technical quality will keep us watching until the end.

Tripti Dimri once again showed how good an actress she is by playing Qala, a character who can show many different emotions. She also looks great in clothes that have a vintage look. Along with Amit Sial, who is still as brilliant as ever and whose eyes are full of different feelings, Babil Khan did a great job with his duties. Swastika Mukherjee was a great choice to play Urmila. Her character drives Qala’s feelings throughout the whole movie. The other actors all did their jobs as needed by what was going on.

Qala is very smart when it comes to technology. The emotional songs by Sagar Desai and Amit Trivedi and the background music of the movie will definitely make the audience feel like they are in the story. The cinematography by Siddharth Diwan is another great thing about this movie. Every shot in the movie has such beautiful lighting that it looks like a painting. The art department also deserves praise because their work made it possible to bring back the magic of the past. The film’s production values are excellent. The movie should have been cut together better.

Anvita Dutt Guptan, who was amazing with “Bulbul,” worked with the same crew to make another interesting project that looks great technically. Even though it was necessary for the story she chose, this movie’s narration may not be funny to some viewers, and the slow pace will definitely bother them.

You should watch Qala on Netflix if you like to watch movies and can handle more drama. It is a very interesting and well-made movie.
