Movie Verdict

A lot of Hindi films have been remade in recent years. Southern hit movies have been remade by every top actor, and many are destroying the souls by adding pointless elements. As an exception, this film was made by the same filmmaker who directed the original and was able to hold the attention of the audience with his plot and narration. The original source material was barely touched in the production of this film.
Even though the movie appears to be slow-moving, the narration is essential to the story because it will gradually draw you into the details of the story. The first and second halves of the film, with a few exceptions, seem engaging and full of intricate details at all times. Filmmakers handled the main character’s past and connected it to the case he is currently working on in a way that made it more compelling.
Vicky, played by Rajkummar Rao, has to deal with his own trauma while also tackling a difficult case. Sanya Malhotra performed admirably given her limited screen time and role. As the film progressed, so did the roles of each additional actor.
Technically, the film is excellent. Photographer Manikandan was too adept with the camera, and the resulting image’s colour tone is perfectly in keeping with that. Song and background music are excellent in this film. It’s possible that Garry sped up a few scenes in the beginning of the movie to make them seem longer. Filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu stayed true to the source material and didn’t add any extras.
Finally, HIT – The First Case is an intriguing thriller that must be seen for its original production and Rajkummar Rao’s powerful performance.
