An AGM presentation by Akash Ambani featured a demonstration of the upgraded Jio TV Plus user interface. He claimed that content from 12 OTT services, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Hotstar, Sony LIV, and others, would be accessible without requiring users to create new accounts for each service. Voice Command
Another feature that will help in accessing content is the voice command feature. The Jio TV Plus will be able to look for different content using voice search. Other new features include a unique polling option. Users will be able to conduct polls on the Jio TV Plus. The poll numbers can easily be accessed in real-time.
Easy Browsing
So that users can more easily locate what they’re looking for, the interface will classify content into various categories. Jio TV Plus subscribers will find the TV shows and movies organized in a number of genre-specific sections.
According to Vivek Couto, executive director of Media Partners Asia, the Indian market is the “only full-scale, high-growth opportunity in Asia outside of China.”
