Movie Verdict
Once Vivek becomes responsible for the case of a little girl named Velonie, though, the show becomes engaging and makes you feel like a participant. Vivek’s inability to uncover a single clue in the first three episodes does little to pique your interest in the inquiry. Because it takes so long to get into the main tale, the first several episodes of the series are presented at a very leisurely pace. Nonetheless, the series’ premise prepped your mind for a journey.
Even though the plotline fluctuates in the few episodes having a plot and the investigation process keeps viewers intrigued, the show’s worst weakness is the killer’s reason. Beginning with the fourth episode, the suspenseful screenplay increases the show’s intrigue and keeps you captivated by the screen until the end of the series.
S.J. Suryah always performed a better job as Vivek than Laila, while Nasser, who had limited screen time but appeared in the majority of episodes, gave his best. The rest of the cast, including Vivek Prasanna, Hareesh Peradi, Smruthi Venkat, and Kumaran Thangarajan, all gave it their all.
The series by Andrew Louis was only partially successful due to its predictable premise, but the writing is excellent. In addition, he wrote a suspense novel featuring predictable moments. At a minimum, the series would have been vastly improved if the scenes had been created from scratch.
From a technical standpoint, Vadhandhi is remarkable. The photographs by Saravanan Ramasamy and the background music by Simon K. King draw you into the story and make you feel like you’re there. With his background music, he enhanced numerous sequences, and the rest of the cast also performed admirably.
Vadhandhi is a conventional thriller because it does not alter the conventions of the genre, but it does bring its own unique twist. If you enjoy thrillers, you may want to see it, while others may want to avoid them.
